She attended Villanova University where she graduated cum laude. While there, she was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and spent countless hours volunteering in various altruistic organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics. Dr. Lombardi then went on to attend medical school at Robert Wood Johnson where she was active in several student organizations including the American Medical Women’s Association. She was also instrumental in re-instating the Italian American Student Physicians Association there.
While in medical school, Dr. Lombardi published multiple research articles and presented at numerous dermatologic meetings. Following medical school, she completed a highly coveted one-year internship in pediatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She then went on to complete her residency in dermatology at New York Medical College in New York City where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lombardi then went on to complete a one year fellowship specializing in Mohs, dermatologic surgery, lasers and cosmetic procedures. She also has a special interest in nutrition and alternative medicine and completed a one year program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Dr Lombardi is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Medical Association.
